Her new track, “Melon,” has made IU a Melon legend. Amidst much anticipation, IU finally returned on January 24 at 6 p.m. KST, releasing her pre-release single “Love Wins All.”
The song topped Melon’s Top 100 and multiple other domestic real-time music charts within one hour after its launch. “Love Wins All” is the second song in Melon’s Top 100 chart history to debut at No. 1 an hour after its release. The chart was created in August 2021 following Melon’s chart reform.

Only BTS’s “Yet To Come” has debuted at No. 1, so IU is the first female artist to ever have a song premiere at the top spot. I am so proud of IU for all she has accomplished! The “Love Wins All” music video by IU and BTS V has set new standards.
