Daydream, HIGHLIGHT’s first full-length release since changing their moniker from Beast back in 2017, served as a reintroduction. After winning the 2020 Korean singing competition, Mr. Trot, Lim Young Woong fulfilled his potential with his genre-defying debut Im Hero. With their self-titled debut, NewJeans established themselves as one of the genre’s most intriguing new girl groups.
