J.Y. Park And Entertainment Stars Open Their Wallets For Global And Local Charities
From JYP Entertainment’s main guy, J.Y. Park, to all the singers and artists in the company, they’re stepping up with some serious cash donations. And they’re not just doing it once to show off—they’re doing it because they genuinely care about helping others, and they want to inspire everyone else to do the same.
J.Y. Park recently gave away 20 billion KRW from his own funds over two years, from 2022 to 2023, or 10 billion KRW annually. He was inducted into the “Bob Pierce Honor Club” and gave 5 billion KRW to World Vision in 2022 to provide medical assistance for underprivileged people worldwide.
Furthermore, he gave 5 billion KRW to Samsung Seoul Hospital and World Vision in 2022, and 2 billion KRW to five significant regions.
Stray Kids are referred to as “donation idols.” Member Felix joined the ‘Vision Society,’ reserved for contributors who give more than 10 million KRW, after donating 50o million KRW to World Vision during the February earthquake in Syria and Turkey of the previous year.

In addition, he belongs to the Save the Children “Honors Club” for donors who have given more than 30 million KRW. This year, he is the youngest member of UNICEF’s “Honors Club” for donors who have given more than 100 million KRW. Members Changbin, Hyunjin, and Lee Know have also contributed large sums of money.
TWICE’s Nayeon just gave 30 million KRW to help sick people in areas where it’s harder to get good medical care than in the big cities. Because of her kindness, she’s the first person this year to be honored by the Love’s Fruit organization.
ITZY’s Ryujin was the first to join the ‘Promise Honors Club by giving 50 million KRW each to help people affected by the 2022 East Coast wildfires in Korea and last year’s earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.
