After graduating from the University of Michigan, they supported each other’s goals and followed Jim’s coaching career before relocating to Houston, Texas. Jim Harbaugh After Divorce
Jim and Miah tried to save their marriage by going to counseling, but it didn’t work out. In the end, they decided on a friendly divorce and agreed to divide child custody. Miah moved to Coronado, California, to devote herself to her family’s upbringing and her hobbies.
Jim, in the meantime, fell in love again and married Sarah Feuerborn Harbaugh in 2008. He then added four more kids to his family. Following their divorce, Jim and Miah both mapped out routes to contentment and tranquility.

Jim Harbaugh College Playing Career
Harbaugh committed to play football for the Michigan Wolverines, led by Bo Schembechler, in February 1982. His “high school reputation as a slick California passer” preceded him to Michigan.
In 1982, Harbaugh, who was eighteen at the time, and junior Dave Hall filled in as Steve Smith’s backup quarterbacks. Smith had set a single-season record of 2,335 yards of total offense in 1981, surpassing that of Michigan.
Smith started each of the 12 games of the 1982 season, with Hall filling in as a limited backup. In 1982, Harbaugh saw no game action, did not record any statistics, and was allowed by the NCAA to keep his redshirt for four years.

In April 1983, Harbaugh played admirably in the yearly spring game, completing 10 of 15 passes for 116 yards. Coach Schembechler stated following the game that “Harbaugh is a fresh talent who’ll be all right, but he has a lot to learn.”
As the “pass-oriented quarterback of the future,” Harbaugh was hailed by the team, but in 1983, he was Michigan’s third-best quarterback, behind Steve Smith and Dave Hall.
In the limited action, Smith started 11 games, Hall began to one, and Harbaugh completed two of his five throws for 40 yards. On November 5, 1983, Harbaugh completed his first pass for Michigan in a 42–10 victory over Purdue.
