Jimin of BTS is blazing hot in the UK, as BigHit Entertainment’s “Like Crazy” debuted at No. 8. The first single “Like Crazy” off BTS’s debut album FACE has surpassed his own record of one week prior, “Set Me Free Pt. 2,” which peaked at No. 30, to become the highest U.K. chart appearance by a solo member of the group.
“Eyes Closed” by Ed Sheeran, which debuted at No. 1, is at the top of the most recent Official UK Singles Chart, which was released on March 31 and has “Like Crazy” as an impact song.
The only other member of BTS to have a solo hit in the UK top 40 before Jimin’s two most recent singles were J-Hope and his collaboration with J. Cole, “One The Street,” which peaked at No. 37. J-Hope, Jin, Suga, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook are the seven members of the K-pop sensation group that have so far had four singles that have peaked in the UK Top 10: “Dynamite,” “Butter,” and a collaboration with Coldplay called “My Universe” all reached No. 3, while “Life Goes On” peaked at No. 10.
