A well-known actor, Jung Woo Sung, was on hand to deliver honours to the evening’s performers, who included both actors and musicians.
While being interviewed on the Red Carpet, he was asked a question about K-pop. The show host wanted to know who his favourite musician was right now. The reply from Jung Woo Sung caught everyone off guard. Sure enough, it was Jin.
Actually, Jung Woo Sung named “The Astronaut” one of his favourite songs. Another actor, Kim Seoham, has recently spoken about how much he like Jin’s newest single. Their friendship spans decades.
At the Emergency Declaration VIP premiere, Jung Woo Sung ran into Jin. Kim Namgil treated Jin as a VIP guest, inviting him to dinner among Hollywood heavy hitters and even Chungmuro government officials.

When Jin made his acting debut, he impressed everyone at the dinner, including actors from Chungmuro (Korea’s answer to Hollywood). Shortly after, Jung Woo Sung invited Jin to the premiere of his new film, Hunt.
The actor expressed his hope that Jin will attend. During their brief interview at the premiere, Jung Woo Sung remarked that Jin was the best talker he had met since Ju Ji-hoon and that Jin’s personality had left a lasting impression on him.
In fact, he admitted to considering pairing them off. We are all well aware that Jin’s film and theatre teachers at Konkuk University were among the best in the world. Ten students total made it through the acting auditions, and Jin was one of them.
Only ten students were accepted into each of the two top Korean acting schools that he attended. Each received close to 2,000 applications. He was regarded as a top performer in his class. It seems the veteran actor took a liking to Jin, who leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets.
