According to reports, Jisoo of BLACKPINK has opted to pursue solo projects managed by her brother’s agency. Jisoo has reportedly joined Blissoo, her brother’s agency, as reported in an exclusive media article from January 2nd. Biomom, Inc.’s subsidiary entertainment firm Blissoo is headed by Jisoo’s brother, who also happens to be its CEO. A recent ad for experienced hires was posted by Blissoo with Jisoo’s photo.

Since “It’s complicated to define the company’s relationship with Blissoo,” a Biomom, Inc. official declined to comment on the matter. The CEO’s family link is also unknown to me. Blackpink members will not be holding any solo promotions on December 29th, according to an official announcement from YG Entertainment.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie debuted with her own label OA, before Jisoo did. In the time after, the singer maintained an active presence across several social media sites, which may have been a hint about new music on the horizon from her label.
