With his promotion to full member status by the Korean Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) on January 31, 2024, BTS’s golden maknae Jungkook became the first member of the vocal line and the fourth member of BTS altogether.
Broadcasting, public performance, reproduction, and mechanical recording rights are all overseen by the non-profit copyright collective known as the KOMCA, which belongs to South Korean musicians and artists.
Fans erupted in jubilation at the news that the Standing Next to You singer had achieved yet another lifelong goal—becoming a permanent member of this charitable copyright collective for musical compositions. Someone went so far as to tweet:

Now that Jungkook is a full-time member of the Korean Music Copyright Association, he has written twenty-two songs, the most recent of which are Dreamers (live) and Dreamers (live).

As a member of the Korean Music Copyright Association, Jungkook has amassed revenues from copyrighted works and is recognized for his many songs, demonstrating his significant contribution to music creation throughout the years.
With her promotion to full member of KOMCA, the Standing Next to You singer makes history as the first member of the vocal line and the fourth member of BTS altogether, much to the delight of her fans.

With 40,000 members, the Korea Music Copyright Association ranks among the biggest in Asia and the world for collective rights management. “GOLDEN” by Jungkook has been Top 10 on the Billboard 200 for twelve weeks.
Joined by Jimin of BTS, the Standing Next to You singer has just completed basic training and been sent to the fifth infantry division after completing the five-week program. He is anticipated to make his military return in 2025.
