Once again, Jeon Jungkook is vying for the honor of best Korean soloist. A new Spotify record has been made by the youngest member of the K-pop group BTS. Since releasing his solo album, Jeon Jungkook—hailed by BTS ARMY as K-pop’s golden vocalist—has continued to break records.
In 2023, the 26-year-old music icon accomplished the unthinkable: with just one album, “Golden,” he became the first Korean solo artist to receive 4 billion listens on Spotify.

There will be no letup from the Seven Crooner in 2024, either. According to Spotify’s most recent statistics, Jungkook is head and shoulders above the competition.

When it Comes to Music Jungkook is Unrivaled
Even the Billboard charts acknowledge the 3D crooner’s global fame. This week, his legion of admirers celebrated his remarkable sixty-week run on the Billboard Hot 100 by posting tributes to him on various social media platforms.
The ‘king of records’ was once again the subject of Korean media’s glorification for his latest accomplishment: his album “Golden” was the first Korean solo singer to reach a 12-week running streak on the Billboard 200.
A large portion of BTS’s fan base resorted to X to reminisce over the golden age of Jungkook’s music career.

Jungkook had the most popular song in the world last year, and he even outdid himself by creating one of the best pop albums of all time.
An enthralling performance and vocals that bring to mind the music king prompted the usher to rush over to co-sign and star on Standing Next To You. “Jungkook the only Korean soloist who’s able to stay stable on Hot 100 for more than 10 weeks with different songs!” was another message that resonated with the poster.
