BTS’ Jungkook shocked fans with a surprise performance of his first album GOLDEN on the newly erected TSX stage in Times Square. Jungkook of BTS stunned the crowd with a surprise performance in Times Square on Thursday night. The K-pop star took the freshly built TSX stage to surprise his fans with a spontaneous performance of his debut album Golden, and the result was a standing ovation. The show took place on November 9 after his performance on November 8 at New York’s Rockefeller Plaza.

Videos of Jungkook’s performance on the Times Square billboard have recently exploded on Twitter. He performs several songs from his album GOLDEN, including “Please Don’t Change” and “Yes or No,” in these videos. Fans are seen singing along, dancing, and going absolutely crazy over his incredible voice. The Euphoria singer can be seen pleading with ARMYs in one video to “Please Don’t Change,” and thanking them for their constant support of him and BTS in the other.

During Jungkook’s recent performance on TODAY SHOW, BTS’s “Golden Makane” hinted at an upcoming project. During his time in the country, Jungkook dropped hints about a private event he would be performing at, but information regarding the venue and his set were kept under wraps. Jungkook’s Golden album broke the Hanteo chart album record by surpassing the last record set by V’s Layover album.
On the same day, avid viewers observed major alterations to the enormous Times Square billboard. Jungkook’s billboard promotion for Calvin Klein was included in various clips. Everything points to a major event happening soon. The TSX stage is the most visible location outside of Times Square, making it ideal for a massive performance. This brand-new structure in the middle of Times Square features a breathtaking 18,000-square-foot billboard display.
