K-pop Female Group MAMAMOO Will Perform in Singapore: In February of next year, the South Korean girl group MAMAMOO will be performing in Singapore for the first first time. This performance is a part of the quartet’s first-ever world tour, which began on November 18 with three sold-out gigs in Seoul.
On February 9th, MAMAMOO will be performing at the Star Theatre at Singapore’s Star Performing Arts Centre. Tickets, priced between S$128 and S$288, go on sale Wednesday, November 30 at noon via Ticketmaster.
In 2014, four members (Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa) of MAMAMOO made their debut. Their singles Mr Ambiguous (2014), Egotistic (2016), and Starry Night (2018) are all examples of their continuous quality. I Say Mamamoo: The Best, an album released in celebration of the band’s seventh anniversary, is their most recent offering.
Women in this group are also hugely popular in South Korean variety shows. Hwasa, the group’s 27-year-old “maknae,” frequently appeared on the variety shows Hangout With Yoo and I Live Alone. Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein, and Hwasa are the four members of the South Korean girl group Mamamoo, which was created by RBW (previously WA Entertainment) in 2014.
On June 18, 2014, with the release of Mr Ambiguous, the band made its first appearance in the public eye. Some critics hailed their debut as one of the year’s top K-pop releases. They’ve made a name for themselves with their soulful singing and homages to R&B and jazz from the past.

Mamamoo worked with a number of different musicians before their debut. On January 8, 2014, they presented their first joint effort, titled “Don’t Be Happy,” with Bumkey. On February 11, 2014, “Peppermint Chocolate,” a collaboration between K.Will and Wheesung, was released.
On the Gaon Digital Chart, “Peppermint Chocolate” debuted at position #11 in its first week of release. Mamamoo and the rap group Geeks dropped a joint single titled “HeeHeeHaHeHo” on May 30th, 2014.
