On May 14 KST, Kim’s agency, Think Entertainment, released a statement through the official fan cafe acknowledging the recent traffic incident involving a taxi on May 9. They expressed remorse and took responsibility for not responding promptly after the accident, promising to prioritize the safety of their artist. The statement affirmed their dedication to protecting their artist under any circumstances.
The agency also confirmed its intention to continue with the planned ‘Tvarotti Classic Arena Tour 2024’ in Changwon and Gimcheon, as well as the World Union Orchestra Super Classic, without any changes to the schedule.
They expressed appreciation to fans for their unwavering support and promised to maintain a protective shield around the artist. Meanwhile, Kim Ho Joong is currently under police investigation for allegedly leaving the scene after a collision with a taxi while changing lanes in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, around 11:40 PM on May 9.
Kim underwent a breathalyzer test at the police’s request on May 10, with his manager initially taking responsibility as the driver.
