Kim Woojin Drops ‘I Like The Way’ Album, Featuring Infectious Pop Dance Hits
Pop dance hit “I Like The Way” has catchy vocals by Kim Woojin, a funky guitar sound, and a groovy bass rhythm.
Ryan Jeon, a popular K-POP artist, composed the music, and Kim Woojin wrote the lyrics. The song’s message is one of self-assurance and independence—doing what one wants, without letting other people’s opinions limit you.
Alongside the song, a music video was made that graphically embodies Kim Woojin’s bold plan to follow his own path and overcome all obstacles. Throughout, Woojin can be seen executing difficult choreography and playing the bass on top of a car.
As the first album to be released under Creation Music Rights’ (KMR) Kustomade label, “I LIKE THE WAY” signifies a fresh start for Kim Woojin. Woojin’s involvement in music selection, mood setting, and most of the lyrics writing demonstrated his growth as a solo artist.
Kim Woojin demonstrates his wide range of musical interests by experimenting with pop, R&B, Afrobeat, and ballads. SMASHHIT, an independent company within KMR, assisted in the album’s production.
Lead producer and former H.O.T member Kangta (Happytizer), up-and-coming composer Hyun, who worked on “What U Say,” producer Kyle Lo, who produced “Pretty Mess,” producer and topliner Klozer, and Petra, among others, all contributed to the album’s excellent quality.
Today at 6 PM KST, Kim Woojin’s third mini-album “I LIKE THE WAY” will be available on different music streaming websites.
