Lee Jong-suk Discusses His Long-Term Friendship with IU

On December 31, 2022, actor Lee Jong-suk (33 years old) and idol-actor IU (29 years old) confirmed their relationship had blossomed into love with heartfelt letters. The letter sent K-pop and K-drama fans into a frenzy because the two celebrities were famous and more importantly, because they had known each other for over ten years.

Officially speaking, Lee Jong-suk mentioned IU in a recent interview with Esquire Korea. He further brought up the public’s knowledge of the two’s friendship and camaraderie in the interview. He described IU as the most hilarious person he had ever encountered and listened to her music as a solace during his darkest hours. He made a point of:
