Lisa is at the Top of Apple Music’s List: At the end of 2022, Apple Music unveiled a list of the 25 most Shazamed 2022 K-pop tracks around the world.
LISA, of the Thai idol group BLACKPINK, proved once again in 2021 with her solo single “MONEY” that she was a major force in the industry.
Lisa should be commended once more for her year-end chart dominance in 2022 despite the fact that she has not released any new solo material.

Lisa
Lisa, whose real name is Lalisa Manobal, is a famous Thai rapper, singer, and dancer. In the YG Entertainment-created girl group Blackpink, she holds the position of Jennie. In September of 2021, Lisa released her first solo effort, a self-titled EP called Lalisa.
She became the first female artist to have an album sell over 736 thousand copies in its first week of release in South Korea. With 73.6 million views in its first 24 hours on YouTube, the music video for its lead single of the same name set a new record for the most-viewed music video by a solo artist.
Lisa became the first solo K-pop artist to win an MTV Video Music Award because of the success of her single “Like I Love You.” She was born Pranpriya Manobal on March 27, 1997[10] in Buriram Province, Thailand, but on the suggestion of a fortune teller, she legally changed her name to Lalisa, which means the one being praised.
The only child of a Thai mother and a Swiss stepfather, she was brought up by both of them. Chitthip Brüschweiler is Lisa’s mom’s name. Marco Brüschweiler, a chef in Bangkok at the moment, is her stepfather.

After completing both Praphamontree School I and II, Lisa was considered to have completed her secondary education. She began taking dance courses at the tender age of four and went on to compete in numerous dance competitions throughout her childhood, including “To Be Number One,” before joining the We Zaa Cool dancing crew, along with BamBam of Got7, when it was just eleven members strong.
The group competed in and won the “Special Team” award in the September 2009 LG Entertainment Million Dream Sanan World competition, which aired on Channel 9. In addition, Lisa competed as her school’s representative in a singing competition for “Top 3 Good Morals of Thailand” organised by the Moral Promotion Center in early 2009.

She placed second. Lisa, then 13 years old, tried out for the YG Entertainment record label in Thailand in 2010. Lisa has always had a deep desire to be a successful K-pop star, having grown up idolising groups like Big Bang and 2NE1.
Lisa was the only one out of the four thousand applicants to meet the requirements, therefore YG Entertainment’s then-CEO, Yang Hyun-suk, offered her a position as a trainee at the company. One of the judges, 1TYM’s Danny Im, was particularly impressed by Lisa’s performance and demeanour during the tryouts.
