There have been various adaptations of Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women, from the stage to the big screen to television. The story will be converted into a K-Drama for Netflix for the first time in history, premiering in September 2022. Little Women is an upcoming worldwide South Korean drama series based on Louisa May Alcott’s popular novel of the same name.
Kim Hee Won, who previously directed Vincenzo, Money Flower, and Fated to Love You, directs the series. Jung Seo Kyung, who previously authored the screenplays for The Handmaiden, Mother, and Thirst, is responsible for the series adaptation.
What Is The Story Of Little Women About?

The second sister Oh In Kyung, a news reporter who refuses to serve money and strives to always do what is right, is played by Nam Ji Hyun.
She begins looking into the facts when a puzzling case from her early days as a reporter comes back to her area. Park Ji Hu changes into Oh In Hye, the youngest sister who is overjoyed by the affection of her big sisters and puts in a lot of effort for her. Is A Trailer For Little Women Available?
Yes, a trailer is available. The preview paints a picture of a suspenseful drama centered on a mystery involving lost cash. The precise plot line is a little hazy as a result. The present setting and the reduction from four to three March sisters are two notable deviations from the original story. It’s an intriguing idea, yet it may deviate so far from the source material that it makes no sense to use the title.
Three ordinary sisters come across a huge amount of money — 70 million won, to be precise— out of nowhere. All they wanted was to be able to live a smooth and simple life, but this event changes everything. They struggle to decide whether to keep the money or give it back. They don’t know what’s in store for them.
It certainly seems like an interesting premise, though it may veer so far from the original story that it seems odd to be using the title. Are you planning on watching Little Women as it airs on Netflix?
