Photos of Lucas, a former member of NCT, surfaced online on February 21, prompting fans to wonder if the idol is getting ready for a solo debut or return.
Those on the internet who shared the photo claim that the idol is supposedly in Budapest right now, recording a music video for his solo return. Even though there is no official confirmation of this, fans have managed to find very little evidence to back up their claims.
According to fans, a member of the SM team is currently in Budapest, and they claim that this staff person has been involved in casting decisions and other important scheduling matters for the SM artists. Consequently, fans couldn’t help but wonder if the SM crew tagged along with Lucas to Budapest to shoot the music video for his purportedly imminent solo return.
The idol’s purported new X account, which is linked to SM Entertainment’s official X account, has been released, further fueling fans’ speculations about the impending solo debut and comeback of the idol.

Lucas New Pictures In Budapest For his New Album
After a photo of Lucas, a former member of NCT, appeared online not long ago, fans began to wonder if he was filming a music video for his purportedly impending solo debut in the Hungarian capital.
After the scandal involving allegations of abuse, infidelity, and gaslighting against him and his ex-girlfriends surfaced in August 2021, the idol went on a hiatus.

The idol was the target of widespread criticism and hate speech due to the scandal, even though the claims lacked credible evidence. The idol’s departure from NCT and WayV was revealed in May 2023. Nonetheless, the idol will keep performing as a solo artist and will remain signed to SM Entertainment, as disclosed in the statement.
Fans are also excited about the idol’s solo debut for reasons other than this. Though he has been out of the spotlight since his 2021 sabbatical ended, the idol was seen at Seoul’s Ten’s FANCON with Jaehyun, Johnny, and Mark, his former NCT colleagues. He also got a shout-out from Key of SHINee at one of Lucas’ solo gigs.

Fans thought SM Entertainment started endorsing the idol because of the dramatic uptick in his public appearances. Additionally, SM Entertainment’s official X account has a direct affiliate, @LUCAS2060553, which fans have lately noticed. Fans are led to believe that the idol is about to launch his solo career after he dropped a number of clues.
