This weekend marks the launch of “Badland Hunters,” an action blockbuster that is one of the first Netflix original Korean films of 2024.
The setting of the novel is a dystopian Seoul that has devolved into a desolate wasteland. The powerful are going ballistic, scaring the helpless as they search for water and other necessities. Nam San, played by Ma Dong Suk, is a man who vows to punish the bad guys.
