MAMAMOO MoonByul Flaunts Her Beauty in Latest Teaser: In the ‘The Present’ teaser image, Moon Byul of MAMAMOO flaunted her beauty. MAMAMOO dropped the trailer for Moon Byul’s upcoming special single “The Present” on December 19th.
Three brand new songs—”PRESENT,” “A miracle 3 days ago,” and “CHEMISTRY”—are included in ‘The Present. All three tracks feature contributions from Moon Byul, which has excited fans. Meanwhile, on December 22 at 6 PM KST, Moon Byul will release his special single.
Moonbyul (real name Moon Byul-yi) is a South Korean rapper, singer, composer, dancer, and radio host signed to RBW. The leader MC of the South Korean girl group Mamamoo and its spinoff Mamamoo+, she is a household name in her native country.
Moonbyul released her first solo single, “Selfish,” in May of 2018. She is the eldest of three sisters; Moon Byul-yi was born in Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. It was in 2005 that she saw TVXQ perform “Rising Sun” and decided to pursue a career in music.
In 2011, she was accepted to the Paekche Institute of the Arts to study media music and singing. In June 2014, Moonbyul made her official debut with Mamamoo. She made her solo debut in May of 2018 with the song “Selfish,” which included Red Velvet’s Seulgi.

Her first extended play, dark Side of the Moon, was published on February 14, 2020. She unveiled the remastered version of Dark Side of the Moon, titled ‘OON, on May 29, 2020. On May 30, 2020, Moonbyul performed her first online solo concert, OON.
On January 19, 2022, she unveiled her second extended play, 6equence. She dropped the album’s lead single, “G999,” starring Mirani, on December 13, 2021, and another lead single, “Shutdown,” featuring Seori, on December 30, 2021, before the album was officially released.
