Marry Me is a forthcoming American romantic musical comedy-drama film, directed by Kat Coiro and based on the graphic novel of the same name by Bobby Crosby, has a script written by John Rogers, Tami Sagher, and Harper Dill, and is set to be released on July 19, 2018. Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma, John Bradley, and Sarah Silverman will all feature in the picture, which is set to be released in 2017.
In addition to being available for streaming on Peacock from the same day, it is slated to be released on February 11, 2022, by Universal Pictures, following filming that took place between October and November of this year. Jennifer Lopez plays Kat Valdez, a sensational Latin pop star who discovers that her on-stage partner (Maluma) has been having an affair behind her back. Kat decides to marry a complete stranger, Charlie Gilbert (Owen Wilson), who happens to be holding a “Marry Me” sign by accident at her live concert.
The film is based on the Marry Me comic book series. This cartoon was initially published on the internet as a webcomic.

Marry Me Production
When it was reported in April 2019 that Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson will feature in the romantic comedy film Marry Me, everyone was excited. Kat Coiro will direct from a script written by John Rogers, Tami Sagher, and Harper Dill, which is based on the comic novel of the same name by Bobby Crosby.
STX Entertainment will distribute the film, which will be directed by Kat Coiro. In July 2019, it was revealed that Universal Pictures will distribute the picture in place of STX Entertainment. In the same month, Sarah Silverman, John Bradley, and Maluma joined the film’s cast as supporting characters. Earlier this year, Michelle Buteau, Jameela Jamil, and Chloe Coleman were cast in the film.

Marry Me Soundtrack
The Marry Me Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the upcoming soundtrack of the film of the same name, which will be released soon. Sony Music Latin and Arista Records will collaborate on the release of the album.
During a promotional tour for her single “Medicine” in April 2019, Lopez said to Ebro Darden of Beats 1 radio that the next album she releases will “most likely be in conjunction with a new movie.”
Earlier this year, she formally revealed that, in conjunction with the release of Marry Me, she would be releasing a new album that would also serve as the film’s soundtrack.
“Six or eight” tracks sung by her, along with “two or three” songs played by Maluma, will be included on the album, according to Jimmy Fallon. The record will also include a duet between the two that is performed as both an uptempo and a ballad, according to Fallon.
The film Marry Me will be released on February 11, 2022, by Universal Pictures. Although it had originally been scheduled to be released on February 12, 2021, it was postponed until May 14, 2021, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, and then to February 11, 2022, as a result of yet another change in the release schedule. Streaming access will be made accessible on Peacock the following day.
