CBS Baltimore reports that while paying for multiple goods, Moore began an argument with the cashier and then opened fire as the dispute turned violent. Moore was eventually identified as the resident of a flat when surveillance footage showed him crossing the street to enter.

On Friday morning, the Washington Post reported that a SWAT team had stormed his apartment. A search of Moore’s residence after his arrest revealed the woman’s remains in “an advanced condition of decay.” Moore told police that he and the dead woman had been together for a while and that she was eight months pregnant at the time of her death.

He informed detectives he was in a relationship with the female, who was pregnant — the female who was found inside the apartment — and that there had been some type of altercation between the two about one month prior,” Montgomery County Chief of Police Marcus Jones said during a news conference on Friday.

The coroner’s office received her body to conduct an autopsy. So far, no one knows who she is. Moore was arrested and charged with first-degree murder and firearm possession in connection with the fatal shooting of Wondimu, 61. KSLA-TV said that the woman’s identity and the circumstances of her death could lead to more charges.
