The Circle in the Square Theatre has been hosting previews for a production called KPOP, which is mostly a celebration of K-pop music. On November 20 of this year, the show will debut to the public.

The performance scheduled for this afternoon was unfortunately cancelled today. It is with regret that we must announce that the KPOP matinee performance scheduled for today, November 2, has been postponed.

The evening performance scheduled for tonight, November 2, at 8 p.m. will go on as scheduled. The post did not specify why today’s concert was cancelled. We’re relieved to hear that it’ll be ready in time for the evening performance, and we hope that everyone involved stays healthy.

Quite a stellar cast has been assembled for this production. Among the show’s highlights, as described in a Playbill interview, are: “K-pop singer Luna stars as MwE, and the rest of the cast includes Marina Kondo, Joshua Lee, Lina Rose Lee, Zachary Noah Piser (Dear Evan Hansen), Eddy Lee (Hamilton), Amy Keum (Hamilton), James Kho (Hamilton), Jully Lee (Hamilton), Abraham Lim (Hamilton), Kate Mina Lin (Hamilton), Aubie Merrylees (Hamilton), Patrick Park (Hamilton), Aubie Merryle.

The 20th of November will be the formal opening of KPOP at Circle in the Square, and we cannot wait.
