Minho Confronts the ‘Illusion of Reality’: Minho of SHINee has released a trailer for his debut solo album. Minho fights to get away from a slew of shadowy entities in this footage. For his debut solo mini album, ‘Chase,’ he aimed for a theme of freedom and exploration.

His admirers get excited because it feels like they’re watching a movie. The album’s digital release date is set for December 6, while the physical album and music video release date is set for December 12 KST.



Shinee is a boy band from South Korea, created in 2008 by SM Entertainment. Due to their significant impact on the Korean music scene, the trio has been dubbed “Princes of K-pop.” Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin are the group’s current four members.

They were formerly a five-piece band, but they lost vocalist Jonghyun in December 2017. In May of 2008, Shinee made their television debut on SBS’s Inkigayo with the tune “Replay,” which was featured on their debut EP.

The media coined the term “Shinee Trend” to describe the fashion movement that the band started amongst college students. The Shinee World, the band’s debut studio album in Korea, was released in August 2008 and went on to win Newcomer Album of the Year at the 23rd Golden Disc Awards.

Shinee’s subsequent singles, “Ring Ding Dong” and “Lucifer,” helped to further cement the group’s fame in South Korea. The song “Ring Ding Dong” topped the charts in Korea and quickly became a regional and international hit.

In 2010, the choreography of “Lucifer” earned the song a nomination for Best Dance Performance at the Mnet Asian Music Awards. The band’s 2012 album Sherlock was the sixth best-selling album that year, selling over 180,000 copies. The group has also been featured on Forbes’ list of Korea’s Power Celebrities not once, but twice (in 2014 and 2016).


Minho (real name Choi Min-ho) is a multi-talented South Korean artist who has released music under the moniker Minho. He first gained widespread attention after making his debut with the popular South Korean boy band Shinee in May 2008.

Beyond his work in groups, he made his acting debut in the KBS2 drama special Pianist which aired in November 2010. After that, he started appearing in shows like Salamander Guru and The Shadows (2012), To the Beautiful You (2012), Medical Top Team (2013), My First Time (2015), and Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth (2017). With the 2016 film Canola, he entered the world of feature films. He has released two digital singles under his name so far: “I’m Home” (2019) and “Heartbreak” (2019). (2021).
