A parody video featuring IU and BTS’ V performing their hit single “Love Wins All” was uploaded to YouTube on February 9, 2024, and has since gone viral. The two videos put a comical spin on the original material by having actors reenact moments from the song.
The hidden meaning, though, was what really made this satire stand out. In an effort to bring more attention to the issue, a government agency made it.
Despite the parody’s comedic tone, audiences connected with Love Wins All because of the song’s enormous popularity in South Korea and around the world.
The song’s authors and the ministry’s innovative method to raising awareness were praised by fans for their positive social impact beyond just entertainment.
Taejun and jihye parody was published on a secure TV channel managed by the Ministry of Interior and Security.

The Korean Ministry of Public Administration and Security’s YouTube channel, “Anjeonhan (Safe) TV,” posted these spoof films in an effort to raise awareness about the importance of staying safe over the Lunar New Year vacation, including regarding fire and traffic safety measures.
In February 2024, when the Lunar New Year celebrations were well underway, the safety department became aware of the possible dangers that came with the festivities. It felt obligated to raise awareness using social media, the most effective marketing technique of the present day.
Audiences were pleased by the innovative use of parts from the popular Love Wins All music video. The intended impact was guaranteed by utilising the star power of BTS’s V and IU, two of the top stars in the nation.
The parody scenes successfully used humour to convey critical safety messages, and fans were entertained by the choice of actors and their portrayal.
At the end of the commercial, the song’s title was subtly changed to “Safe Wins All,” which was fitting for the objective of the project. This project highlighted the beneficial impact of BTS’s V and IU’s song, particularly in their native country.
