Moon Knight Plot

Working in a gift shop in the United Kingdom, Steven Grant struggles to tell the difference between reality and dreams due to his frequent blackouts, hearing voices in his brain, and sleeping disorders. Marc Spector has a totally different personality than he does, and he realizes that he is sharing his body with him as well. Khonshu (old Egyptian moon god), he later discovers, is also his earthly avatar. This all links to his hidden trauma. That doesn’t even take into account all of Steven’s other personalities…

Some essential aspects of Moon Knight’s past have already been verified, but it’s unclear how closely the show will adhere to the comics. Moon Knight is the first MCU superhero to have been diagnosed with dissociative identity disorder, which explains why he has been unable to function normally for so long. It has been announced that Moon Knight will have three distinct personalities: Steven Grant, American mercenary Marc Spector, and “Mr. Knight,” a detective persona in the comics. It’s been rumored that there will be more character personas, but that hasn’t been confirmed.

Writer and executive producer Jeremy Slater told USA Today that while using several personalities is a simple method to have one actor play multiple roles in the same program, it is crucial to treat mental health with the care and respect it deserves. A positive message about mental health must be at the core of anything he or she puts out into the cosmos, according to him.

Moon Knight Cast

Oscar Isaac is Moon Knight

Steven Grant and Marc Spector are played by Oscar Isaac in the Marvel program. He portrays a character with DPD, and as such, he has two distinct selves. In contrast to Grant, a mild-mannered museum gift shop employee, Spector is a ruthless mercenary operating under the guise of Moon Knight to serve the Egyptian god Khonshu.

Ethan Hawke is Arthur Harrow

Arthur Harrow, the villain of Moon Knight, is an enigmatic figure. He’s devoted to the Egyptian god Ammit and uses his powers to execute those who fail his morality test. It’s even more alarming because the exam doesn’t simply determine whether someone has done good deeds in the past, but also predicts what they will do in the future, which could result in your death. Khonshu’s original incarnation was Harrow.

May Calamawy is Layla El-Faouly

She was married to Marc Spector, but she had no idea that he had an alter-ego named Steven Grant. She aided Grant while he was in trouble with Harrow, and she knows where Ammit’s tomb is located because of the scarab.

Gaspard Ulliel is Midnight Man

In comic books, Anton Mogart (known as Midnight Man) is a thief of diamonds and fine art. As a result of this, he is known as the Midnight Slugger. In the comics, he’s Moon Knight’s archenemy. He hasn’t been in the series yet. It’s not yet clear if they’ll have an adversarial relationship in the real world.
