Narcos Mexico Season 4: Is It Canceled Or Confirmed, Know Here!

People are eagerly awaiting the release of the fourth season of Narcos: Mexico after binge-watching the third season. Because of this, we’re going to tell you all we know about Narcos: Mexico season 4.

Narcos: Mexico premiered in November 2018 to mostly positive reviews from reviewers and fans. There is an 81 percent audience rating on Rotten Tomatoes for Narcos: Mexico. As a criminal thriller, it’s no wonder that this has become so popular. The characters are very well-developed. It’s a gritty criminal drama, and these episodes never grow old. I mean, did we really expect anything less from the Narcos series?

Is there going to be a fourth season of Narcos: Mexico or not? Here’s all we know so far regarding a possible fourth season of Narcos: Mexico.

How Many Narcos: Mexico Seasons Have There Been?

All three seasons of Narcos: Mexico are available to view on Netflix at this time. There are ten episodes in each season, with runtimes ranging from 46 minutes to 69 minutes each.

Is Narcos: Mexico Set To Return For A Fourth Season?

We’re sorry to be here, but we have horrible news. Narcos: Mexico will not get a fourth season. Season three of this Netflix criminal thriller has been renewed for a third season without any indication that it would be the last season. Narcos: Mexico: Season 3 will be its last, it was announced in September 2021.

The truth is, we’re not surprised in the slightest if we’re honest. If Narcos ran for three seasons, then its sibling shows should have the same number of seasons. Both Narcos and Narcos: Mexico are Netflix original shows with comparable plots, therefore if Narcos could be told in three seasons, then so could Narcos: Mexico. There will be no fourth season, so don’t get your hopes up.

Look out for a new limited series from the same team that brought you Narcos! When it comes out, the series is called Griselda, and we’re confident you’ll be just as enthralled.

Narcos Mexico Season 4: Casts

Since there will be no fourth season of Narcos: Mexico, there will be no official season 4 cast.

Since a fourth season has not been planned, there is no official summary. Even if the Narcos series won’t be revisited in the near future, we believe there’s a strong chance we’ll see a new spinoff in the future.

In the drug trade, there are still a lot of stories that have yet to be told. The drug trade in a different nation would be an interesting subject for a future show. To be sure, we’ll have and wait to see what Netflix and the Narcos creators decide. As a result, be sure to check back often for updates on everything Narcos!

Narcos Mexico Season 4-What Is the Reason for the Cancellation?

On November 5, Netflix released the third season of Narcos: Mexico, which includes ten brand new episodes. It has been announced that these are the final episodes of the series.

The Hollywood Reporter spoke to co-creator Carlo Bernard about why the programme was ending.

“I regarded this season as a genesis narrative of the contemporary society that we live in,” he explained. “When the programme reached that point where we now recognise, good or bad, it seemed like a good place to end it for me..” The show has been able to open the curtains and reveal the origins of this phenomenon, as well as how it has progressed over time.

“Not that there won’t be more interesting tales to tell in the future. But to me, thematically and narratively, ending at the point when we had given the world we currently live in today felt logical. The last thing we’d like to do is repeat ourselves.”

From 2015 through 2017, three seasons of the original Colombia-based Narcos series were shown on Netflix. New original series Narcos: Mexico was created in 2018 instead of a fourth season centred on the illegal drug trafficking in Mexico.

A DEA agent, Kiki Camarena (played by Michael Pea), was first introduced in the series as he investigated the Guadalajara Cartel, which was commanded by Miguel ngel FĂ©lix Gallardo (Diego Luna). The series also featured Scoot McNairy as DEA agent Walt Breslin (played by Michael McNairy).

He had already been imprisoned at the conclusion of season two and therefore was replaced by new bosses, leaving season three solely focused on them.

Considering that both Narcos and Narcos: Mexico lasted for three seasons, the creative team has the option of starting a whole new Narcos series instead of returning to the existing storyline in Mexico.

Speaking to Collider, Bernard discussed the prospect of further Narcos. “Honestly, this is sort of the end of the journey, at least for the time being,” he stated. “No plans are in place, but the drug trade is not going anywhere, therefore the chance of future versions exists.

“For the time being, this is all there is… In a way, it seemed like we were telling a tale that tied into one another… As a result, Mexico’s third season seemed appropriate.”

Griselda Blanco

A six-episode limited series starring Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara, is another project by the Narcos team, which includes executive producer Eric Newman.

For the past eight years, Vergara and producer Luis Balaguer have been working on the project together. According to the Hollywood Reporter, “Griselda Blanco was an enormous character who had cruel but smart strategies that let her to govern an enormous billion-dollar empire before many of the most infamous male kingpins we know so much about,” Vergara said.

However, Griselda Blanco (better known as “Black Widow” or “The Cocaine Grandmother”) was a significant Medellin Cartel drug trafficker in the 1980’s but did not appear in the first season of “Narcos.”

However, Catherine Zeta-Jones portrayed her in 2017’s Cocaine Godmother, and Jennifer Lopez is set to feature in a biopic called The Godmother, which is based on the life of the cocaine godmother.

Last Words-

The new show’s description on Netflix reads as follows: “Griselda tells the tale of Griselda Blanco, a shrewd and ambitious Colombian businesswoman who founded one of the world’s most wealthy drug gangs. Black Widow Blanco’s lethal combination of charm and ruthlessness made her a master in the delicate balance between family and business.”

The series is scheduled to begin production in 2022, according to reports.
