The news has spread about BTS because NASA has chosen three of their space-themed tracks for their 2024 Voyage Moon Tunes playlist. One of the three K-pop songs that will be played during NASA’s 2024 Voyage to honor the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 is Mikrokosmos from Map of the Soul: Persona. The other song is 134340 from Love Yourself: Tear.
Moonchild, a solo tune by RM from his widely listened to mixtape “Mono.”, is among the K-pop selections featured on the Moon Tunes playlist, among music featuring other groups. Fans were ecstatic when word spread on social media because all three songs were very meaningful to them. Millions of listeners around the world can relate to the K-pop boy band’s uplifting and heartfelt songs.

Three songs by BTS were among the selections made for NASA’s space mission, which was announced on January 2 by the agency. In preparation for its next lunar mission, NASA is ready to go. For the 2024 Voyage, a three-day excursion, they unveiled their Moon Tunes playlist featuring BTS’ Mikrokosmos and 134340, in addition to RM’s solo track Moonchild.
Kim Nam-joon, better known by his stage as RM achieved a historic first: a song by a K-pop solo act was placed on NASA’s Moon Tune playlist. Fans and listeners have responded strongly to the space-themed songs Mikrokosmos and Moonchild because of the meaningful themes they address, such as self-esteem and self-love.

From D-Day to Public Service Career on September 22
Both Kim Nam-joon and V, nicknamed Kim Tae-hyung, joined the military on December 11. On the same day as the rest of the group, Jimin and Jungkook started their buddy system basic military training on December 12.
Following the conclusion of his debut solo concert tour, D-Day, in August, Suga commenced his public service career on September 22. J-Hope will also be discharged on October 17, and the eldest member of the septet, Jin, will be relieved of his obligations the day before BTS’ eleventh debut anniversary, on June 12.
