According to various Korean news outlets, NCT member Haechan was recently caught in a behind-the-scenes dancing practice video with an electronic cigarette. You can see NCT 127’s dance routine for their new song “Be There For Me” in this video. Even though the video is gone, fans are still very split over the viral peeks of Haechan using his e-cig.
The video shows Haechan and the rest of the group dancing in a studio. Many on social media and in stories asserted that he was seen with an electronic cigarette in his hand, as if pausing to catch his breath.

In an official notice shared in the Weverse communities of NCT 127 and NCT DREAM, SM Entertainment updated the public on Haechan’s health on January 9. Haechan returned to Korea on January 8 after experiencing flu symptoms and a high temperature while in Japan for planned activities. He had to take a break from music for a while to get well after a hospital visit revealed that he had tonsillitis.

The most recent Circle Chart Music Awards 2023, which took place on January 10, however, did not include Haechan. There were a total of six members of NCT DREAM at the event: Mark, Renjun, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung. Haechan’s future engagements will be decided based on his recuperation status, according to SM Entertainment, who promised supporters regular updates.
