On January 25 at 6 PM KST, MAVE, the first virtual K-Pop idol group from Metaverse Entertainment, will make their formal debut with their first single album, “PANDORA’S BOX.” “Pandora,” the group’s title song, will start with a message about a gloomy future in which emotions are forgotten.

The music will conclude on a happier note with the idea that the world may once again be hopeful. As the first virtual idol group from Metaverse Entertainment, MAVE has caught the interest of many K-Pop enthusiasts. The group shares a lot of characteristics with other typical idol groups.

Each of the four members will represent a particular season, emotion, place, and language and have unique character features. Each character will also have a distinctive logo of its own. Upon their debut, MAVE is anticipated to participate in various international activities in the metaverse, music, games, and webcomics.

The group’s first album and music video for the song “Pandora” will be available on various music websites on January 25 at 6:00 PM KST.

In the 2000s, “K-pop” gained popularity, particularly on a global scale. Gayo (Korean: Hanja), still frequently used in South Korea, is the word for domestic pop music in Korea. Although “K-pop” can describe any popular or pop music from South Korea, it is frequently used informally to refer to all Korean music and artists connected to the nation’s entertainment and idol industry, regardless of genre.

With the formation of the hip-hop boy band Seo Taiji and Boys in 1992, the more contemporary genre variation, initially referred to as “rap dance,” developed. They experimented with various musical genres and styles while incorporating foreign musical influences, modernizing and changing South Korea’s contemporary music scene.
