There will be no K-pop performers in attendance at the 66th Annual Grammy Awards on February 4th (local time) at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles (LA), USA.
Categories for this year’s Grammy Awards have been announced and SZA is at the head of the pack with nine nods, including album of the year and record of the year. Among the other famous nominees, the world is about to be captivated by the songs of Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Jon Batiste, boygenius, Billie Eilish, and Victoria Monet.
Listeners all across the world were disappointed to see no K-pop acts, like BTS, on the list of 2024 Grammy Award nominees. Regarding the ‘Best Pop Duo/Group Performance’ category, BTS has been nominated for three years running, beginning three years ago, but has not won any of them. Their worldwide fanbase is even more disappointed that they and other K-pop artists did not receive nominations this year.

Considering that BTS has been honored at the ‘American Music Awards’ and the ‘Billboard Music Awards,’ two other prominent American music award shows, its omission from the Grammy nominations is all the more disheartening.
