‘O.O’ is First Track From NMIXX to Reach 100 Million Plays on Spotify. Nmixx is a girl group from South Korea, created by SQU4D, a division of JYP Entertainment. Lily, Haewon, Sullyoon, Jinni, Bae, Jiwoo, and Kyujin are the seven members of the group. On February 22, 2022, the band released their debut EP, titled Ad Mare.

JYP Entertainment has not released a new girl group since Itzy in 2019, thus on July 9, 2021, the company announced the debut of a new group. From July 16-25, JYP Entertainment took pre-orders for a limited edition of the group’s debut package, titled Blind Package, which featured the debut album and album-related items.

From August 6 through November 19, the members were gradually unveiled through a series of dancing videos and cover songs (in order: Jinni, Jiwoo, Kyujin, Sullyoon, Bae, Haewon, and Lily) The group, formerly known as JYPn, officially changed their name to Nmixx on January 26, 2022.

The news of their debut on February 22 with the release of Ad Mare was announced on February 2. After member Bae tested positive for COVID-19, the group’s debut presentation, originally slated for February 22, 2022, was pushed up to March 1.

With “O.O,” NMIXX has broken through to a new level on Spotify. NMIXX’s “O.O,” the group’s debut single, surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify on November 27 KST.

The music video premiered on February 22, 2022, nine months and four days after the album’s title track, “AD MARE,” was released as a single.
