Outlander Season 7 Teaser: Before Christmas, a unique present for “Outlander” fans arrived: a sneak peek at the upcoming season, which will debut in the summer of 2019. At the trailer’s beginning, Sam Heughan’s Jamie Fraser is heard telling Caitriona Balfe’s Claire about a dream in which he saw her surrounded by light.
Light shone all around you. He clarifies that neither candlelight nor firelight was present. I reasoned that must be how electric light works.
The Declaration of Independence being posted, a solemn funeral procession taking place, Brianna giving birth, and, most shockingly, Claire facing a hanging are just a few dramatic scenes shown in the clips for the upcoming season. Jamie is also asked by Claire how he can recognize something he has never seen in real life.

Outlander Season 7 Teaser Release Date
In an exclusive interview with Digital Spy, the executive producer Maril Davis said that Outlander Season 7 filming would begin in May 2022. Although they were on “a relatively regular pace,” Davis refused to give a specific release date, saying that this season would be “supersized.”
The seventh season of Outlander would have twice as many episodes as the sixth. In an interview for Season 6, Balfe said that Season 7’s filming will take 13 months, delaying the launch date until at least May 2023.
After that, we might start seeing episodes. It implies that the earliest we can expect to see it is 2023. Naturally, when we do, you’ll know more information.
Outlander Season 7 Teaser Cast
A well-liked character will be recast for Season 7: Kristin Atherton of Doctors, Waterloo Road will replace Laura Donnelly in the part of Jenny Murray, Jamie’s sister, which she played from Seasons 1 through 3. (The Nevers).
The season will also see the return of Graham McTavish (who plays Dougal MacKenzie), Nell Hudson (Laoghaire Fraser), Steven Cree (the elder Ian Murray), Lotte Verbeek (Geillis Duncan), Andrew Whipp (Brian Fraser), and Layla Burns. According to showrunner Matthew B. Roberts, the season will “revisit some of our favorite characters in different times and places” (Joan MacKimmmie).
As William Ransom, Jamie’s grown son, Charles Vandervaart (Lost in Space), will join the cast. In addition, the series will introduce several new characters, such as Rachel Hunter, a Quaker woman (played by Izzy Meikle-Small, Ripper Street); her brother Dr. Denzell Hunter (played by Joey Phillips, Doctors); Mercy Woodcock, a free Black woman in Colonial America (played by Gloria Obianyo, Dune); Rob Cameron, a new acquaintance of Brianna and Roger’s
Outlander Season 7 Teaser Plot
Is the Ye Olde Newspaper Clipping of Doom from Outlander’s prophecy coming to happen? Given hints in the recently published teaser video for the Starz historical drama, signs point to “verra, perhaps.” Those following the program for a while may recall that a few seasons back, Roger and Brianna learned that her parents had perished in a fire at their North Carolina home, according to a note in a colonial newspaper.
And in the video above, it appears that Claire and other inhabitants of Fraser’s Ridge are gathering water to put out a raging fire. The fire’s inclusion in Season 7 would make sense; it was one of the scenes from Diana Gabaldon’s sixth book, A Breath of Snow and Ashes, that was left out of the Starz series’ shortened Season 6 (the trailer confirms that Season 7 will debut in Summer 2023, following star Sam Heughan’s hint earlier in December). An essential character in the storyline, Wendigo Donner, also appeared in the Season 5 finale’s blink-and-you-miss-him scene.

Outlander Season 6 Teaser Recap
There was a major cliffhanger in the season 6 finale of Outlander. It will make the duration of the following Droughtlander more challenging to endure. At least it brings some solace to know that the new season’s production is already underway. Hopefully, we’ll learn the truth before spring 2023.
So let’s move on to the critical information. The theme song plays at the beginning of the episode, “I Am Not Alone,” as opposed to the show’s customary frigid opening. We quickly comprehend why: In the late 1950s or so, Claire, or if not Claire, a woman who looks strikingly similar to her, is spotted at a diner ordering a Coke, burger, and fries with a friend (possibly a young Bree).
That’s all we get before the action jumps back to the late 1700s, just as Claire is detained for a murder she didn’t commit. The chairman of the Committee of Safety, Richard Brown, has stated that he won’t leave the Ridge until he has Claire in his control. Jamie and Claire are not about to allow that, so when one of Brown’s men tries to apprehend Claire, Claire shoots him.
We witness the brief scene from the opening credits as Claire purposely steps out of her house with a gun and takes aim as all hell breaks loose in the shootout. Jamie claims that Malva’s death being falsely linked to Claire is just an excuse for Marsali to exact revenge for killing Richard Brown’s brother Lionel (from the season 5 finale).
We break from the turmoil and look at Roger and Bree as they make their way to Edenton from a great distance away. They debate whether and when to inform Jemmy about time travel and the struggles they overcame to be together. I guess not yet. Young Ian and the other First Nation members shoot the other Brown men with firearms while aiming at Oakes, who is still holding Jamie captive.
Ian and Chief Bird are warned not to kill Oakes by Jamie since he knows where Claire is. Ian continues, “So do we, uncle.” Chief Bird shoots Oakes with his rifle, and the bullet enters Oakes’ eye socket after passing right through Oakes’ hand. This has got to be the bloodiest murder we’ve seen in a while, right?
Jamie is approached by Chief Bird, who yells, “I told you I would fight with you, Bear Killer.” I can’t contain my joy as Ian releases Jamie. The good guys then ride off to save Claire in one of the most beautiful establishing shots we’ve ever seen on the show: Jamie, Ian, Chief Bird, and the others.
What a drama, you say? Will Tom still be alive when Jamie reaches Claire, though? Although he has pledged to defend Claire, Richard has also gone through a lot, so I don’t have as much faith that he feels the same way about Tom. What condition will Claire be in when Jamie finally reaches her (because he must, of course)? Will the show disclose Malva’s killer the same way the books do?

There is a lull in the fighting as everyone gathers at the Ridge, but Claire and Jamie know they are in for a tough fight. Apart from their safety, of course, the only thing that comes to mind is their miserable home and the mess they’ll have to clean up. They would only be so fortunate to encounter that issue at this stage because surviving is the only thing that matters.
