Jimin of BTS has recently released his first Dior ad as the brand’s worldwide ambassador. On October 12, the K-pop artist shared photographs from the Dior Men Spring 2024 ad on Instagram. Alasdair McLellan shot the campaign that was released on Tuesday.
For the picture shoot, Jimin dons a variety of sweaters, trousers, and suits, including a sweater vest with a striped shirt and a navy blue suit with a Dior pen and a sky blue neck scarf. In other pictures, Jimin can be seen wearing a suit and tie or a V-neck sweater with an argyle pattern.
On October 13, the Dior ad campaign began, coinciding with Jimin’s 28th birthday. In January, Jimin was named a global ambassador for Dior, and he and fellow BTS member J-Hope attended the Dior Fall/Winter 2023 fashion show in Paris. “So thrilled to start a journey with @Dior,” he posted on Instagram.
In addition to debuting the Dior campaign, Jimin adorns the cover of Elle Korea’s 31st anniversary issue. One of the three covers that Jimin shot for the magazine had him wearing a $945 Maison Margela Reconstructed Knit Vest. Jimin, J-Hope, and Suga, all members of BTS, have landed worldwide ambassadorships with big fashion businesses including Dior, Tiffany & Co., Valentino, and Louis Vuitton, demonstrating the group’s expansion into the fashion industry. As a group, BTS has collaborated with companies such as LEGO, Casetify, Nordstrom, and Samsung.

The Korean boy band BTS featured in August advertisements for the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Galaxy Z Fold5 smartphones, following the group’s July celebration of its 10th anniversary.
