South Korean celebrity Park Seo-joon has announced via his agency that he has sued multiple individuals for defamation. It is claimed that these individuals on the internet have been spreading false information and slandering him. The actor’s agency, Awesome ENT, also released a press statement detailing the actor’s court preparations.
All the necessary steps have been taken since the official complaint was documented in 2020. Awesome ENT is doing what they can to protect the Gyeongseong Creature actor’s reputation from online defamation, including s*xual harassment accusations, malicious slander, the distribution of misleading information, insults directed at family members, and the creation and release of false productions.

Awesome ENT stated on their website and Joy News reported that in 2023, the company had originally filed complaints with the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul. The complaints were directed at several individuals, the identities of whom were not disclosed, on charges of defamation against Park Seo-joon and multiple vengeful posts directed towards him in 2020. It was supposedly given to the prosecution as soon as evidence against the accused was found. The organization also mentioned that the police are currently looking into a handful of them and would be handing them over to the prosecution soon.
Joy News of South Korea reports that Park Seo-agency Joon’s has reaffirmed its resolve to end the scandal permanently, declared “zero tolerance” for the conduct in question, and promised not to hesitate to resort to formal authorities if required. The company admitted that it was investigating further to find the individuals responsible for the ongoing hate speech directed at Park Seo-joon.

Awesome ENT stated that they are currently in the process of examining the relevant laws, selecting complaint targets, and consulting with legal counsel. As part of their zero-tolerance policy, they have pledged to see the case through to its completion in the hopes of preventing future attacks on the Gyeongseong Creature actor’s reputation and bringing the perpetrator to justice.
