In their farewell statements, Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik have announced the end of the drama!
In the romantic comedy “Doctor Slump,” two bitter enemies find each other again and, in the midst of their lowest points, end up being each other’s guiding lights. Yeo Jung Woo, played by Park Hyung Sik, is a famous plastic surgeon whose career is on the brink of disaster after a bizarre medical incident, and Nam Ha Neul, played by Park Shin Hye, is a burnt-out anesthesiologist who works too much.
Reviewers were raving about the onscreen chemistry between Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye when they reunited for “Doctor Slump,” an 11-year separation. Both actors have spoken candidly about their final thoughts and feelings as the drama winds down to its climax (with only two episodes left to air).
A comment from Park Shin Hye said, “Time flew by. It appeared like a lot of people could relate to Ha Neul and Jung Woo, and the writer’s words brought them peace and comfort. The fact that viewers could relate to Ha Neul and Jung Woo’s feelings shows, on the one hand, that they, too, had been hurt. The fact that the play “Doctor Slump” might have given them strength is reassuring, nevertheless.
Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye On ‘Doctor Slump’ Farewell
“The series is already coming to an end, and that is really unfortunate,” Park Hyung Sik said. A lot of what happened during filming sticks with me. “It was a fun, cheerful, and heartwarming drama,” I said, adding, “I would like to thank the production team of ‘Doctor Slump.'”
“As an invitation to everyday life,” Park Shin Hye said in response to the question of how she would remember “Doctor Slump.” She went on to say, “It’s a project that allowed me to naturally continue what I’ve been doing as an actress.” It will likely stick out in my memory as a therapeutic drama since I can relate to Ha Neul so well because I was once in her shoes.
Park Shin Hye said, “I really relate to the response regarding the mother-daughter relationship” in response to the fans’ enthusiastic reactions to the drama. Regarding Ha Neul and Jung Woo, I recall that they were praised for being honest and open about their feelings.
“I recall the remarks that characterized Ha Neul and Jung Woo as a couple who are forthright in their expressions,” Park Hyung Sik chimed in. Seeing all the support for Ha Neul and Jung Woo was nice.
Park Shin Hye and Park Hyung Sik, who will be starring in the drama’s finale, have been encouraging fans to look forward to the remaining episodes. They said, “Please witness Jung Woo and Ha Neul’s progress until the very end to determine whether they can recover from their slump.”
Just the two of us holding hands on the path of love. Just like this, don’t need anything else.
