The American crime drama TV show Power Book II: Ghost was made by Courtney A. Kemp. It is a spinoff of her famous show Power. The show started in 2020 and is about Tariq St. Patrick, the son of former drug kingpin James “Ghost” St. Patrick.
In it, he tries to clear his mother’s name and protect his future by navigating the complicated world of drugs, sex, and power. The third season of the show starts with Tariq St. Patrick wanting to go home to his family and quit the game for good. Power Book II: Ghost is getting even more exciting and dangerous in its third season.

Michael Rainey Jr. as Tariq St. Patrick
Tariq St. Patrick, the main character in Power Book II: Ghost, is played by Michael Rainey Jr. James “Ghost” St. Patrick, who was the main character in the first Power series, has a son named Tariq. As a college student, Tariq tries to take care of his family and do well in school at the same time.
But when his mother is blamed for killing Ghost, he is pulled into New York City’s crime world to support his family. Tariq is a complicated character who is both smart and cruel. He will do anything to protect his family, even if it means getting involved in illegal activities.
Gianni Paolo as Brayden Weston
Brayden Weston, played by Gianni Paolo, is a rich and pampered college student who moves in with Tariq St. Patrick at Stansfield University. Even though Brayden comes from a wealthy family, he stays true to Tariq and becomes a valuable partner in his plans.
At first, the show shows Brayden as a character who is naive and doesn’t know anything about life outside of his privileged background. But as he gets more and more involved in Tariq’s illegal operations, he becomes more and more cruel. In 2015, Paolo got his start in acting with a small part in the movie Power. He is also famous for his role in the horror film Ma.

Woody McClain as Cane Tejada

He is also Ezekiel Cross’s half-brother and Dru and Diana Tejada’s older brother. Cane is Monet’s most trustworthy son and is in charge of making sure the rules of the Tejada drug group are followed, at least until they join forces with Tariq. McClain is best known for playing Bobby Brown in the BET program The New Edition Story and the movie that came out after it, Whitney.
LaToya Tonodeo as Diana Tejada
LaToya Tonodeo plays Diana Tejada, the daughter of Monet Stewart Tejada, the powerful boss of a drug empire based in Queens, New York. Diana is shown to be smart and determined, and she wants to do well in the criminal group run by her family.
She often fights with her younger brother, Dru, who is more emotional and reluctant to take part in the family’s illegal actions. Tonodeo got her first job on TV in 2009 when she played a small part in the comedy film Becoming Pony Boi. Tonodeo’s big break came when she played Tara Byrd in the American web series The Oath and got a lot of attention.
Lovell Adams-Gray as Dru Tejada
Dru Tejada is the youngest son of Monet and Lorenzo Tejada. Lovell Adams-Gray plays him on the show. Even though he is an artist by day, he is becoming a drug dealer by night. Drug dealing has been in his family since his parents got married.
As the series goes on, Dru struggles with his part in the criminal organization run by his family. Even though Dru wasn’t interested in the drug trade at first, he eventually got more involved. This put him in danger and gave the show a lot of tension and suspense. Adams-Gray has also been in a number of other movies and TV shows, including Deadly Inferno and Canada’s Sweetheart: The Saga of Hal C. Banks.
Monet as Mary J. Blige Stewart Tejada
Monet Stewart Tejada, the leader of a well-known drug-trafficking family in Queens, New York, is played by Mary J. Blige. Monet is a tough businesswoman who puts the safety of her family above all else and is willing to do anything to reach her goals. She loves her family very much, and she expects the same level of loyalty from them. She has a reputation in the criminal world as one of the most powerful and scary people.
Clifford “Method Man” Smith Jr. as Davis Maclean
Clifford “Method Man” Smith Jr. plays a powerful defence attorney that Tariq St. Patrick’s family hires to help him with his ongoing court problems. Davis is shown to be a smart, charismatic lawyer who knows how to use the court system to his advantage.
Method Man first became known as a part of Wu-Tang Clan, an important hip-hop group. Besides being a musician, he has also played in movies and TV shows, such as How High, The Wire, and Luke Cage.
Shane Johnson as Cooper Saxe
Shane Johnson plays Cooper Saxe, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney who quits his job at the U.S. Attorney’s Office and becomes a private lawyer. Cooper is portrayed as a sneaky and ambitious lawyer who is obsessed with bringing down Tariq St. Patrick and his family for their role in the drug trade.
He has trouble getting along with the people he used to work with in law enforcement, and he is willing to bend or break the rules to get what he wants. Johnson has been in many popular TV shows, such as CSI: Miami, Law & Order, Cold Case, and Castle. He is still well-known in the entertainment business, where he shows how talented and versatile he is as an actress.
Alix Lapri as Effie Morales
Alix Lapri plays Effie Morales, a Stansfield University student who falls in love with Tariq. Effie is presented as a smart, independent young woman who also sells drugs.
She makes friends with Tariq at first because she wants to buy drugs from him, but as they get closer and start to care about each other, their relationship quickly gets more confusing. Lapri is a singer-songwriter who got her start by covering famous songs on YouTube when she was still young. This led to her getting a contract with an independent label to make music.
