As the sole K-pop group to be included in the ‘Artists to Watch in 2024’ list offered by Apple Music and Shazam in the US, the group RIIZE is under intense scrutiny.
To coincide with the release of RIIZE’s new single “Love119” on January 8, worldwide music platform Apple Music and music discovery app Shazam unveiled their “2024 Artists to Watch” selection. Being featured in Shazam’s ‘2024 Trend Playlist,’ a compilation of fifty songs, brought immediate exposure to this particular music.

Apple Music’s editorial staff used Shazam’s data and algorithms to compile a “Shazam: Trend Playlist” including 50 bands and artists predicted to dominate the international music scene in 2019. Among the five acts chosen as “Artists to Watch,” RIIZE stands out, further establishing their position as a promising new musical talent. They are the solitary K-pop representatives among this chosen group.
This honor comes after Grammy.com’s ’25 Artists to Watch in 2024′ featured no other K-pop boy group than RIIZE. Notable worldwide media publications including Rolling Stone have covered the band’s latest single, “Love 119,” with considerable interest. After solidifying their position as the pioneers of the new K-pop era, fans are eagerly awaiting RIIZE’s next projects.
