The lightstick was likely intended to depict the group with an upside-down “7” sign, but fans were not pleased with it. To convey their discontent, many resorted to harsh humor.
They deleted the original tweet with the design two days after the first teaser. On March 6, 2024, a fresh announcement was made on Twitter. The group has already indicated that they will be going back to the drawing board to finalize the design and details.

In April of 2024, the light stick will formally be released to the public. Though not unprecedented, this is a rare occasion on which the RIIZE team has offered such prompt criticism. The group revealed the name of their fan club, “SUNZ,” on September 4, 2023.
