RM Praises Jimin’s Invaluable Contribution to the Group And Said “Without Him It Would Be A Disaster”

There will always be seven members in BTS. It almost didn’t happen that Jimin debuted with BTS, though, did it? Yeah, you heard it correctly! The decision to keep Jimin in the group was absolutely correct, according to RM, BTS’s debut leader, who made the statement nearly a decade ago.

RM Said Without Jimin “It Would Be A Disaster”

Joining the head of HYBE’s Training and Development Team, RM discussed BTS’ trainee days, setting up the trainee system in HYBE, and more in HYBE T&D Story (Training & Development Story), a new series from HYBE Labels. According to RM, the Like Crazy singer is now an essential part of BTS. He introduced her as “one of the two guardian angels” who had supported Jimin when they were trainees and kept him in the group. Protecting BTS was, in a sense, the goal of keeping Jimin on board. “It would have been disastrous without Jimin,” the rapper declared.

If you didn’t know, Jimin had previously admitted that he was kicked out of BTS eight times before they made their official debut because some members of the label were worried he wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure. Jimin had previously stated, “I was in danger of not debuting because I didn’t dance well enough.” She went on to say, “My major was modern dance.” I had a hard time because idol choreography is completely different from my background. But the singer was able to make his debut because of the “two guardian angels” who gave him their stamp of approval.
