Sara Gilbert was born in Santa Monica, California, on January 29, 1975. Her Jewish parents, Barbara and Harold, and her maternal grandpa, Harry Crane, were the creators of “The Honeymooners.” Sara is the youngest of four half-siblings, with two on her father’s side (Joseph and Patrice) and two on her mother’s side (Joseph and Patrice) (“Little House on the Prairie” stars Melissa and Jonathan Gilbert).
