Sarah Bloom is a well-known journalist and anchor for NBC 12 and FOX Richmond. She is also a mother of three children, Michael, John, and Marian. Many of her fans and viewers have been wondering about her daughter’s health condition, as Sarah has often asked for prayers and support on social media. In this article, we will try to answer some of the questions that people have about Sarah Bloom’s daughter’s illness and her recovery.
Sarah Bloom Daughter Illness
Marion, the 2018-born daughter of Sarah Bloom, has been dealing with a significant health issue for a while. In February 2020, Marion’s health unexpectedly changed while visiting an indoor water park with her family.
The following day, one of the sons reported that Marion was acting abnormally, which startled the parents, who thought their three children were getting a good night’s sleep.
Sarah and Sandy hurried to her and found Marion experiencing a seizure, which they think began in the middle of the night. After receiving a brain damage diagnosis, Marion’s H1N1 flu diagnosis was later confirmed.
A few months were spent in the hospital following this diagnosis. Marion lived, but her health did not return to normal. Sarah revealed that Marion now requires help with walking, moving around, and even simple household chores.
Marion is gradually improving with continued assistance from physicians and therapists, but she still needs a wheelchair and is totally dependent on her family.

Sarah Bloom Requested Prayers for Her Daughter
A few years back, Sarah Bloom, the anchor of NBC12 News Today, shared that her daughter Marion was dealing with a difficult medical situation and begged for prayers. A unique opportunity was presented to the Bloom family recently by the New York-based nonprofit group “Baking Memories 4 Kids.”
It is the privilege of a lifetime to be their mother. Love you, M.
Frank Squaw, a cancer survivor, started this foundation to provide all-expense-paid fantasy holidays to Orlando, Florida, amusement parks for children with serious diseases and their families. The Bloom family is scheduled to stay at Give Kids the World Resort when they visit Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando in February 2024.
On its expansive 89-acre site in Central Florida, this resort offers children with serious health challenges and their families a complimentary week-long vacation. These holidays have been enjoyed by over 270 families in 35 states because of Baking Memories 4 Kids. The organization pays for meals and lodging for families in collaboration with Give Kids the World; souvenirs are the families’ responsibility.
Sarah Bloom Sons and Husband
Along with her spouse, Sandy, Sarah Bloom is a mother to two kids, Michael and John. They married in Virginia in 2013 and have since started a loving family. Sandy’s professional background isn’t mentioned, but it’s assumed he has accomplishments of his own.
The family was able to take a wonderful trip lately because of the beneficial effects that groups like Baking Memories 4 Kids have on families going through difficult times. I’m hoping for continuing health and happiness for Sarah Bloom and her family.
