New Legend Walter “Fuse” Fitzroy and the release date for Season 8 of Apex Legends have been officially announced. You can expect a new Legend to join the fray and changes to the Apex Legends weapon tier system and other balancing adjustments. In addition to Horizon, the astrophysicist and gravitational expert, Olympus, a new map in the battle royale game, vehicles were introduced in Season 7.
Many players in the Apex Legends community wondered when King’s Canyon would return to ranked play after the introduction of Olympus. That Kings Canyon was completely demolished, as has been confirmed, gives a much-needed update to the classic map. Many popular locations have been removed from the map, but they have all been replaced with brand-new locations to discover and experience. So far, this is all we know about Apex Legends Season 8.

The Release Date For Apex Legends Second 8
Season 8 of Apex Legends will be available on February 2nd. Season 8 of Apex Legends is expected to begin as soon as the previous season ends, which is consistent with previous seasons. Design director Jason McCord at Respawn has stated that damage trackers will be added to a Season 8 update. Players who have been vying for damage badges have been clamoring for this addition. Players will soon be able to see how close they are to obtaining the coveted badges thanks to new trackers that will show them how much damage they’ve dealt.
The Next Character In Apex Legends Season 8
Fuse, an explosives expert, and Salvo’s bone cage champion is the next Legend to join the fray. When Salvo, a once-independent world, decided to join the Syndicate planets, an organization that aims to bring peace to the Outlands, Fuse was born.
Apex Legends Season 8 New Weapon
The 30-30 Repeater is the latest weapon to be added to Apex Legends Season 8. Despite the fact that the lever-action rifle fires hard-hitting rounds, it is not known how much ammo it can hold. Due to its high damage output, heavy ammo appears to be the obvious choice for this weapon. This weapon is popular on Salvo, so it’s possible that it has explosive properties. If data miners are correct, Apex Legends may be getting its first explosive weapon after all these years.
Changes To The Apex Legends Season 8 Map
Fuse’s ex-best friend, Mags, has destroyed Kings Canyon in the Apex Legends Season 8 launch trailer. Apparently, Salvo’s inhabitants aren’t exaggerating, as the classic battle royale map has been completely redone. The fuse was launched from the top of a large gunship, but Mags quickly brought it down. The Crash Site, a new location in Kings Canyon featuring the shattered gunship in the middle of the area, has been added. As a result of the damage, there have been numerous fuel leaks across the map, prompting an ECHO response (Ecological Cleanup and Hazard Outreach).

Players can reach the apex of the wrecked ship via zip-lines in the ECHO compounds that surround it. These sniper-friendly camps feature observation towers that are ideal for the best marksmen. To begin, players must raise the observation towers, which will sound an audible alarm to anyone nearby. In Season 5, the bunkers were introduced. However, don’t worry, there will be other ways to find golden weapons after the gunship crash in Kings Canyon. The bunkers have been replaced with Explosive Holds, which contain weapons, ammo, and high-tier attachments in predetermined locations. In order to get into these rooms, players must blow open the Hold’s doors, so you’ll have to make a fuss.
In addition to Spotted Lakes, Slum Lakes were demolished and replaced with Spotted Lakes. Because of the numerous areas that have been inundated, the area has been given a new name. Although the ECHO compounds are built for close-quarters combat, the zip-lines in the area make it easy to get around. The Farm was another area completely destroyed during the devastation. It’s possible that the lack of room will make it difficult to fight in this location. The developers have removed all of the structures in order to encourage players to engage in open-air combat.
The Season 8 Anniversary Collection of Apex Legends
Season 8 will feature an anniversary collection, according to well-known data miner Shrugtal. Some of the most well-known Apex Legends skins from previous seasons appear to be returning, but with a new set of colors. Red and black appear to be the colors of choice for some of the leaked skins. Anniversary recolor skins will be given to all but Horizon, Rampart, and Loba.

For those who missed out on skins when the game launched in 2019, this is a great opportunity to get them now.
