Selling Sunset Season 6 Release Date Speculation

It’s been quite some time since we’ve caught up with the folks at the Oppenheim Group, but the good news is that both the sixth and seventh seasons of Selling Sunset have been picked up for production. Through her Instagram account, the star of the reality program, Chrishell Stause, confirmed the news and shared the information that “filming on season 6 begins this summer.”

Filming for the upcoming sixth series is likely to take place over the next several months, and if the previous series are any indication, it may arrive on Netflix six months after that. Even though Netflix has not yet announced an official release date for the upcoming sixth series, Keeping this in mind, it seems likely that Selling Sunset will return for a sixth season around May of 2023.

Selling Sunset Season 6 Cast

The cast members of Selling Sunset who will be returning for the sixth season have not been officially confirmed by Netflix as of yet; however, likely, Jason Oppenheim, Brett Oppenheim, Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald, Heather Young, Davina Potratz, Amanda Smith, and Emma Hernan will all be back on the show.

According to TMZ, Christine Quinn will not participate in either season 6 or 7 of the reality show Selling Sunset. Thus it is pretty doubtful that we will see her on the show again in the foreseeable future.

After Quinn skipped the most recent Selling Sunset reunion, and Jason Oppenheim admitted that “there’s not a place for her at The Oppenheim Group,” this news does not come as a significant surprise. On the website of the Oppenheim Group, she is no longer featured as a real estate agent either.

Although it was “not an easy decision,” Maya Vander disclosed in June via her Instagram story that she had decided to leave the show after relocating to Miami with her family. Maya is not the only realtor who has left the show; Quinn is no longer a cast member.

She continued by saying she believed she was in Us Magazine one month ago, “But at the end of the day, I have…priorities.” My priorities right now are spending time with my family and making sure I take care of myself, she said, adding that she was “always going to have regrets” about leaving the show. I had a challenging [year], and the loss of my pregnancy added to that burden, so I believe this was the best choice.”

Because Chelsea Lazkani and Vanessa Villela are the two agents now featured on the website of the Oppenheim Group, they may return to Selling Sunset.

Selling Sunset Season 6 Plotline?

Fans have many questions after the Selling Sunset reunion that occurred earlier this year, even though we don’t know very much about the next sixth season of the show. It is hoped that the upcoming season will shed light on Chrishell Stause’s contemporary romance with the artist G Flip and how she juggles her professional life with her former partner Jason Oppenheim.

Regarding whether G Flip would be a part of the upcoming series, creator Adam DiVello stated in an interview with E! News that he has discussed the matter with Chrishell.

“Chrishell has been such a great sport from day one with us, giving us everything from her divorce from Justin Hartley to her relationship with Jason [Oppenheim] and her baby journey,” he said in July. “Giving us everything from her divorce from Justin Hartley to her relationship with Jason [Oppenheim] and her baby journey.”

“At this time of year, we are transitioning between seasons. Just now, are we starting to ramp up preproduction on number six? We have not discussed this matter with Chrishell as of yet… I hope we do get to see G Flip.”

As for the other real estate agents, Heather Young shared the news on Instagram earlier this year that she and her husband, Tarek El Moussa, are expecting their first child together in the first few months of 2023. Since filming is scheduled to take place around now, we may accompany the couple as they go through their pregnancy.
