Sousei No Onmyouji Season 2: Release Date, Cast & Other Updates!

In a world awash in shounen anime, ‘Sousei no Onmyouji’ doesn’t add anything new to the table, instead combining elements from nearly every shounen you’ve ever watched. It has its own “this looks pretty good” moments, as well as “eh!” moments.

The fact that the first 20 episodes have been faithfully adapted from the manga but the remaining 30 have a totally original tale is fascinating. Although the unusual method may not appear to make a difference, the experience is truly distinct.

It, like other anime, features some “filler” episodes because it runs for considerably longer than other conventional anime. The good news is that most of the fillers in this one are actually related to the main plot. ‘Sousi no Onmyyouji,’ on the other hand, could have been a bit shorter, in my opinion.

Studio Pierrot is well known for producing shounen shows like as “Naruto,” “Bleach,” and “Tokyo Ghoul.” ‘Sousi no Onmyyouji’ is clearly not one of their better works, and while it does have some really wonderful moments, its biggest flaw is its inconsistency with the art style’s quality and colours.

Although the OSTs contain a lot of dubstep music, it really works well with the show’s battle scenes. The music is excellent, and it lingers in your mind long after you’ve finished watching the movie. Overall, ‘Sousei no Onmyyouji’ has its own epic moments, but it also has times where it falls flat, forcing many people to abandon it.

Sousei No Onmyouji Season 2: Release Date

Season 1 of ‘Twin Star Exorcists’ began on April 6, 2016 and ended on March 29, 2017, with a total of 50 episodes produced throughout that time. New volumes of the manga are still released on occasion. However, the first season of the anime concluded on a high note, pointing us in the direction of the finale.

Though the authors might still deviate from the manga and create a new season, it appears to be a less likely scenario. It hasn’t been long since the first season aired, so there’s still hope for a second. Surprisingly, despite the show’s average rating on most anime platforms, it has a large and devoted fan base that want to see more of it.

Sousei No Onmyouji Season 2: Plot

Exorcists struggle to cope with these unclean beings in the parallel dimension of Magano, which is ruled by deadly monsters known as “Kegare.” Benio Adashino, a young prodigy famed for her power, is one of these exorcists. An Exorcist Union unexpectedly summons her to Tokyo. Along the way, she meets Rokuro, an exorcist with a rough past.

Soon after, the situation in Magano deteriorates further, as the two girls see two youngsters being kidnapped by monsters. Benio chases them down, dragging Rokuro into Magano with her. She engages in a full-fledged combat with the “Kegare,” despite the fact that she is vastly outmanned.

Rokuro saves her just as she is about to be defeated. He demonstrates that he is just as capable of exorcism as she is, and he may possibly be her sole rival. Both formidable exorcists are doomed to face each other. Season 2’s Cast of Sousei No Onmyouji

Sousei No Onmyouji Season 2: Cast

Benio Adashino

The show’s main female protagonist is Benio Adashino, one half of the “Twin Exorcists.” Despite being a teenager with an extremely enormous head, she has an average height with blue-purple hair and deep green eyes. She frequently wears both her school uniform and her exorcist outfit during battles.

She lost both of her legs in battle and now wears phantom legs to replace them, much like Rokuro did with his right arm. As a result, she is portrayed as a stoic and distant individual who despises communication and becomes angry easily. She’s only interested in discussing exorcisms since that’s all she’s interested in. She despises losing and will not give up without a fight.

She gets a little competitive when she’s around Rokuro because he’s her main rival. She’s not hesitant to confront him head-on on the battlefield or in everyday life. She is a true believer who will not give up until she achieves her goal. When she gets humiliated, she is also prone to passing out.

She then establishes a strong bond with Rokuro and becomes incredibly friendly to him. Her ego comes in the way of her telling him how she feels when she initially starts like him. She can acknowledge her devotion and jealousy for him as she gets to know him more.

She may boost the power of her combat powers by a factor of two or three by using charms. Because she can use six enchantments at the same time, it’s one of her greatest benefits. She has two charm swords and a fox mask on her face.

Rokuro Enmado

Rukoru Endamo (also known as Rokuro Enmadou) was an exorcist before forming the “Twin Star Exorcists” with Benio. The Miko will be born from their union, and he or she will be the last person to rid the world of evil. Rukoru has dark brown hair in an unruly bun and ruby red eyes, just like his mother. He lost his right arm when he was 12, but now he has a “special” arm that he uses in its place.

Rokuro used to be a happy-go-lucky young man who dreamed of eradicating dangerous animals from the planet. He decides to give up his abilities as an exorcist and live a normal life only after a series of highly terrible encounters. Following that, he engages in pastimes such as soccer and reading, and he even contemplates pursuing a career as an actress.

He rapidly realises, however, that he is unable of doing any of these things, and that his only expertise is combat with Kagare. He can’t stand by helplessly while his loved ones suffer, even if he considers himself a pacifist who prefers to avoid violence.

He is always willing to risk his own life to protect the people he cares about. He keeps his pain from his hard past hidden from others, despite the fact that he carries a lot of it in his heart. become the “Twin Star Exorcists,” as well as Miko’s prophesied parents, who will, in the end, purge Magano’s realm of all evil forces.
