Discovery successfully tracked out the source of a gigantic gravitational anomaly in Season 4. At least season 5 should not be too far away, so we won’t have to wait long for their next adventure.

Many cast and staff members have not indicated that Season 5 will be their last season, but it isn’t known how long Discovery will stay on air. “A five-year plan” was announced by Doug Jones before the first episode aired. However, there’s no reason to believe this is still the case, given the number of creative shifts that have occurred behind the scenes. “Discovery…could continue on much longer now,” Jones told Inverse in 2021. If this goes on for a while longer.”
