Fans of the new Stone Ocean anime are eager to learn when the sixth season will air. We don’t think it will be too long before an anime adaptation of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run is released. When can we finally watch Johnny Joestar’s transcontinental sprint?
For JoJo fans who haven’t read the manga, Steel Ball Run will undoubtedly be a very abrupt change. For this reason, Part 7 will occur in a different continuity. The JoJo universe was restarted with Steel Ball Run and the upcoming episodes. While introducing fresh ideas, the program will make passing references to earlier seasons.
Steel Ball Run Anime Release Date? When Will It Come Out?
The time between episodes of the Jojo anime may seem like an eternity, but in reality, they’ve been coming out very regularly. It took approximately 15 years from the debut of the Phantom Blood manga to the premiere of the current anime series, but there isn’t quite as much time between seasons.

— Is Steel Ball Run Confirmed? (@PART7Confirmed) May 15, 2023
Steel Ball Run anime seasons, like its predecessors, typically take two years to film. It took three hard years for Stone Ocean to arrive after Golden Wind. However, the COVID-19 pandemic almost certainly contributed significantly to this lag. We anticipate the final Stone Ocean episodes to drop in the middle to late 2022, and the Steel Ball Run anime to premiere in the middle to late 2024.
When compared to the annual schedules of many other anime, some fans may wonder why it takes two years to produce a season of JoJo. This is understandable, though, given that each of the previous three seasons contained exactly 39 episodes. Even though there is a lot of detailed work involved, David Productions does not skimp on the animation.
As a result, it’s surprising that each installment isn’t broken up into numerous seasons or released every three or four years instead of every two. JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run has yet to receive a concrete premiere date for the anime adaptation. The good news is that there will soon be more Stone Ocean (and, fingers crossed, JoJolands manga) to enjoy.
