After unintentionally showing a Coca-Cola bottle during an Instagram live session earlier today, Stray Kids’ Felix found himself in the middle of criticism. Fans and social media users immediately began discussing the incident in relation to Coca-Cola’s supposed role in the Israel-Palestine conflict, which in turn prompted demands for a public boycott of the brand.
A Coca-Cola bottle was spotted by viewers as Felix drank from it during the live show. Commenters on the livestream wasted little time drawing attention to the problem of endorsing the company in light of the continuing genocide.
if any of yall still won’t spam felix’s live with Coke facts and how Coca Cola is a brand that has a plant in the illegal settlement, as well as having a 57 year history of supporting isra3l and contributing in the destruction/murdering of Palestinians, yall are fucking assholes.

Fans who are aware of the conflict and its consequences and who support these firms were quick to express their dismay. Felix seems to have seen the negative feedback in the comments and on social media, so he tackled the matter head-on during the live broadcast just before the session ended.
felix acknowledged it and apologized for bringing that drink and he said he won’t do it again next time 🙏 pic.twitter.com/uJgaJp2Ggl

Many viewers noticed that Felix was displaying an educational graphic regarding the Coca-Cola boycott on his phone during the live broadcast. Fans were grateful for Felix’s prompt response and apologies, and many voiced their admiration for his awareness of the gravity of the situation.
when i tell you this just made me so fucking happy, he made a mistake and owned up to it in the same live, even though his company has an ongoing sponsorship with coke. THANK YOU FELIX. THANK YOU FOR DOING THE RIGHT THING AND APOLOGIZING.

I don’t think you guys realize how absolutely INSANE it is that this man went live and apologized for a brand sponsorship being upheld by the company. That directly goes against the deal, might even go against his contract to speak against that brand. He’s risking a LOT.

It was observed that this kind of swift remorse is unusual in the business, particularly because JYP Entertainment, the management organization of Stray Kids, has a continuous partnership with Coca-Cola, and no word from them was expected.
