The K-drama’s first season was centered on Hyun-soo following his family’s passing and his relocation to a new building. The world turns into a horrific place where people’s inner urges drive them to become vicious monsters overnight.
As the tenants strive to endure, Hyun-soo confronts his struggles. Despite having all of their abilities, he is still human. One of Netflix’s greatest successes when it entered the K-content and Hallyu wave was Sweet Home.
The astounding announcement that Sweet Home had been given the go-ahead for both a second and third season was made by Netflix in 2022. Fans have highly anticipated a release date since Netflix had previously stated that it would debut in the fourth quarter of 2023. Here’s all we know about the cast, plot, and release date of the K-drama.
Sweet Home Season 2 Release Date
Netflix has revealed that all of the episodes of Sweet Home Season 2 will debut on December 1, 2023. This follows the first season’s successful release on the streaming platform in December 2020.

What is the Sweet Home Season 2 Expected Plot?
The main characters are forced to venture outside of the Green Home, where they had previously engaged in monster encounters. The survivors have established a community at the site of the stadium and have come together, but they are still unable to let their guard down.
The plot is changing, so there will be more suspense as the characters face new threats in various settings and battle both external enemies and their evil urges. Hyun-soo faced off against K-drama antagonist Jung Ui-myeong (Kim Sung-cheol) in the first season finale.
He demonstrated the same skills as Hyun-soo. The occupants engage in a fierce struggle that ends with Ui-myeong’s purported death as they attempt to flee the building for their last hope of survival. The authorities showed up at the end of the K-drama, took the tenants, and circled Hyun-soo.
However, Sweet Home ended abruptly when it was discovered that Ui-myeong had transformed into Pyeon Sang-Wook (Lee Jin-uk) through the usage of his powers. He had taken over the military car that Hyun-soo was riding in. Fans of the first webtoon would be aware that the cliffhanger has a slightly different resolution.
Sweet Home Season 2’s first official teaser showed Hyun-soo being transferred to a covert government facility while still alive. A dark voice muses on whether he will be the one to save them all. Before being drenched in blood, Hyun-soo swears to do everything it takes. Scenes depict the surviving characters attempting to survive as the anarchy in the globe gets worse.
