Growing up in Ontario, Canada, Sydney and Chase were reared by their mother, Raechel, without knowing their father. When Darren first met Raechel, he was a short-time player in the Canadian Football League.
Raechel lost her home twice in order to pay for her sons’ tuition at St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Bradenton, one of the many sacrifices she made in order for them to play football in the United States. For the so-called “mirror” twins, whose features are identical to one another, however, the difficult times have given way to a promising future.
