The Love Me Again vocalist and fellow member Kim Namjoon volunteered for required military service on December 12, 2023. Enlistment in the South Korean military is necessary for all able-bodied male citizens, and the mandatory service term lasts for about eighteen months.
Fans went absolutely crazy and began gushing over the idol as soon as the aforementioned Twitter user posted a new close-up of the Love Me Again singer from the military graduation ceremony. Someone went so far as to say that the idol’s face is “perfect.” Haha!

After five weeks of basic training, Kim Taehyung and Kim Namjoon were both graduates on January 16, 2024. His extraordinary service during his training time earned him the designation of a military elite soldier, making him the only trainee among the six to get this honor.
The Love Me Again singer’s parents posed for photos and videos as he received his certificate, and the images quickly went viral.
